registrar renewal prices, ranked.
Every registrar we track, ordered by how far its renewal prices sit above the cheapest option for the identical domain. Smaller number is better. Nothing here is influenced by affiliate payouts.

Read this carefully before drawing conclusions. The gap is averaged across whichever TLDs we hold prices for at each registrar, and coverage is uneven — a registrar priced on 21 TLDs is not directly comparable to one priced on 44. Use the per-registrar pages for the TLDs you actually own; that is the number that applies to you.
Registrars we track but cannot yet rank — because we hold too few prices for them to be meaningful — still appear in the individual TLD price tables. We would rather show a registrar in a table than publish a ranking built on two data points.
questions people actually ask.
Which domain registrar is cheapest for renewals?
On our tracked prices, Cloudflare has the smallest average gap to the cheapest available option — £1.39 per domain per year across the 21 TLDs we price for it. Which registrar wins for you depends on which TLDs you actually hold, so check the per-TLD tables rather than assuming one winner.
Is the ranking on this page influenced by affiliate deals?
No. Ordering is computed from the price catalog — average gap to the cheapest tracked renewal price — and nothing else. Some outbound registrar links are or will be affiliate links, and they are marked as sponsored, but they have no effect on position. That rule is written down on our methodology page.
Why does a registrar look cheap on one TLD and expensive on another?
Registrars price per TLD, and they compete hardest where volume is. A registrar can run .com close to cost as a headline and take a wide margin on .io or .ai, where fewer people compare. That is why a single 'cheapest registrar' answer is misleading and per-TLD tables are the honest version.

which of these are you actually paying?.
Most people are spread across three or four registrars without ever having compared them. Import your portfolio and owndle works out the gap on every domain you own, then keeps watching so you never miss a renewal while you decide what to move.
