what are all your domains worth?.
Appraisal tools value one domain at a time, which is the wrong unit. The useful question is which of the forty you own are worth keeping — and that needs the renewal cost sitting next to the estimate.
value on its own is the wrong number
Every registrar will happily tell you a domain is worth four figures. What none of them put next to it is the annual cost of continuing to hold it, because they are the ones collecting that cost.
A domain estimated at £900 that renews for £9 a year is worth keeping while you decide. One estimated at £900 that renews for £95 is a decision you should make this year. Same estimate, completely different answer — and you cannot see the difference from an appraisal tool alone.
what we actually do
Every domain in an imported portfolio gets an estimate with a confidence band, scored on TLD, length and word quality. Alongside it sits the renewal price from our cross-registrar catalog, the cheapest alternative registrar, and a recommendation: keep, transfer, list, park or drop.
The recommendation matters more than the number. Sorting forty domains by “probably worth something” versus “definitely costing something” is a job you can do in one pass, and almost nobody does it because it is tedious by hand.
how much to trust the estimate
Not very much, individually — and we would rather say that than pretend otherwise. Automated valuation is pattern-matching on TLD, length, dictionary words and comparable sales. It cannot know that a specific company needs your exact name this quarter, which is where most real domain value comes from.
Where it works is relatively. Across a portfolio, the estimates sort reliably enough to tell you which five names deserve attention and which twenty are dead weight. We wrote up the wider accuracy question in how accurate are domain appraisals.
then actually decide
Valuation is only useful if it ends in a decision. The annual portfolio audit framework is the process we would run: is it in use, does anything link to it, does it protect a brand, what would reacquiring cost, what is it plausibly worth. Most hoarded domains fail all five and should be dropped.

How do I find out what all my domains are worth?

How accurate are automated domain valuations?
Directionally useful, individually unreliable — ours included. Automated appraisals score keywords, length, TLD and comparable sales, and real sale prices diverge from them wildly because a domain is worth what one specific buyer will pay. Treat any single number with suspicion and the ranking with interest.
Should I keep a domain that is worth more than it costs to renew?
Not automatically. An estimated value is only realisable if you actually sell, which takes effort and usually time. Renewal cost is certain and annual. The domains worth keeping are the ones you use, the ones protecting a brand, and the small number with genuine resale demand.
Does valuing my domains list them for sale?
No. Valuation is private and nothing is listed anywhere. If you decide to sell, owndle points you at the marketplaces but does not broker the sale itself.
