what shipped.

Everything that has actually landed, newest first. No roadmap entries dressed up as releases.

renewal price pages, guides and a glossary

  • Published a renewal price page for every TLD in the catalog, comparing what each registrar charges to renew — plus five-year cost, because year-one pricing is the number that misleads.
  • Added a per-registrar view showing where each registrar sits against the cheapest tracked option, TLD by TLD.
  • Added head-to-head registrar comparisons, generated only where both registrars sell enough of the same TLDs to compare like for like.
  • Wrote transfer-away guides for the registrars people most often leave, with the actual unlock and auth-code steps.
  • Started a glossary and a set of guides covering renewal pricing, expiry recovery and portfolio management.
  • Published a methodology page setting out where price data comes from, how often it refreshes, and our rule that affiliate relationships never affect ranking order.
  • Replaced several homepage figures that were placeholders with numbers computed from the live price catalog.
v0.4.1

creator challenge + shareable audit cards

  • Launched the Creator Challenge — make a video about owndle, earn a discount that scales with views.
  • Shareable audit cards: post your savings to X or Reddit and the link unfurls into a generated card with the numbers on it.
v0.4.0

agent API, CLI and the watchlist

  • Shipped the owndle CLI and MCP server so agents can audit a portfolio, list domains, search names and manage a watchlist.
  • Added the public REST API at /api/v1 with API key management in dashboard settings.
  • Domain watchers: track domains you don't own yet and get alerted as they move through the deletion lifecycle.
  • Domain search now shows first-year price, renewal price and five-year cost of ownership, ranked by total cost rather than the headline.
  • iOS app listed on the App Store, with in-app purchases via RevenueCat and social sign-in.
  • Fixed a WHOIS fallback bug that reported unregistered domains as taken.

mobile actions + redesigned emails

  • Handle renewals and transfers directly in the mobile app, plus account deletion and in-app referrals.
  • Rebuilt the email templates on a shared shell — renewal alerts now carry the cheapest-registrar comparison inline.
