“Owndle” / “we” / “us” is Ross Hawthorn t/a Random Shenans (United Kingdom). Contact: hello@owndle.com.
A portfolio tracker for domain names. We read public RDAP / WHOIS data, compare renewal prices across registrars from our own price catalog, and surface renewal alerts via email + push. We do not own your domains, host them, or transact on your behalf. Transfer and listing buttons redirect you to the third-party registrar or marketplace where you complete the transaction.
Don’t:
Some of our outbound links (“transfer to X”, “list on Y”) are affiliate links. If you purchase, we may earn a commission. This never increases your cost. We rank registrars by price, not by commission rate.
We aim for high uptime but don’t guarantee it. We’ll let you know about planned maintenance. RDAP and WHOIS data come from third-party registries — if a registry rate-limits or breaks, some enrichment may be unavailable temporarily.
You own your portfolio data. We grant ourselves only the rights required to run the service (store, display, back up). On account deletion we remove your data per our privacy policy.
We’re not responsible for losses arising from domain decisions you make based on our information — registrar prices and expiry dates come from public sources and can be wrong or stale. Always confirm with the registrar before transferring or letting a domain lapse.
Our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or £100, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law (e.g. for death, personal injury, fraud).
Either side can end the relationship at any time. We’ll refund any paid time you haven’t used if we’re ending your account for reasons other than abuse / non-payment.
We’ll update these terms when the service changes materially. Material changes get 14 days’ notice via email to active accounts.
English law. UK courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes that can’t be resolved by email and good faith.
